Journey To Growth Annual Meeting

Nearly 140 people attended the Journey to Growth Annual Meeting in Pine Island on Wednesday, October 19th, 2016. Attendees received a copy of the Journey to Growth Implementation Summary and heard updates on key developments and projects the Journey committees completed and continue to focus on moving into 2017.

Some of the highlights included:

  • The Talent committee announced the two programs they were driving; TIER (Talent Integration Engagement Retention) and RYPN (Regional Young Professionals Network) have been handed of to Mayo Clinic/Express Pros and The Commission (respectively). As work continues on these projects, Journey to Growth and the Talent Committe will continue to support their efforts and progress.
  • Three new investors were announced and will financially contribute to Journey to Growth in 2017; HGA, Kwik Trip and Joseph Development, LLC.
  • The Diversity and Inclusion Committee announced it is moving forward with the ICI (Intercultural Cities Initiative). The ICI designation is given by The Council of Europe. Rochester will be the first city in the United States to receive this designation.
